Blessing of Expectant Parents on the Fourth Sunday of the Month after Mass

 

We offer a special blessing of parents-to-be after every mass on the fourth Sunday every month.

 

Parents who are expecting a child, whether it is for the first time or more, are invited and encouraged to join us at mass. After mass, we invite you to gather in the narthex with one of our priests to receive this blessing each month leading up to the birth of their child.

 

As a Church that promotes the sanctity of life from the moment of conception, we support all parents who have said “Yes” to new life and we also pray for their unborn children, that they will be safely delivered and will grow to become courageous disciples of Christ and faithful members of the Church.
