Diaconate Ordination of Dr. Frank Averill

We are excited that Dr. Frank Averill, a long time parishioner, will be ordained a permanent deacon by Bishop Gregory Parkes on Saturday, October 16th at 11:00 am. The mass is open to the public for all to attend at the Cathedral in St. Petersburg.
The ordination mass will also be livestreamed by the Diocese of St. Petersburg on their Facebook page and website at dosp.org/livestream.
Upon ordination, Dr. Frank Averill will begin his diaconate assignment at St. Catherine of Siena and Pinellas Hope.
We will welcome soon-to-be Deacon Frank at our parish as he serves as deacon for his first weekend at the 11:00 am & 6:00 pm mass on Sunday, October 17th. Deacon Frank will share greetings and blessings at receptions in Resurrection Hall following the 11:00 am & 6:00 pm masses.
