Kindergarten – 12th Grade
10:15 am to 11:30 amWe are called to be true disciples of Jesus Christ who know, love, and serve God more and more each day. To help you in passing on the faith to your children, we offer weekly faith formation classes on Sundays during the school year. We highly encourage children to participate every year! If you'd like to learn more or register your child for Faith Formation classes, please reach out to our Parish Office or one of our contacts in Faith Formation.

Sacramental Preparation
Our Faith Formation programs not only help parents to catechize their children well in the Catholic faith, but they also prepare each child to receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation according to the guidelines and policies of the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

The policy of The Diocese of St. Petersburg is that children have at least two years of Faith Formation before they receive a sacrament. At St. Catherine of Siena, students typically make First Communion in 2nd grade.

Join the faith formation team
The best way to grow in faith is to teach others! It is also a powerful witness for our children to see their parents/grandparents/Godparents serving in their parish. There are many roles - something for everyone! If you're interested in becoming a Catechist or assisting with Faith Formation, please reach out to one of our contacts in Faith Formation.

Safe Environment Policy
We want our children to experience healthy relationships in the image of God as they participate in our ministries. All staff and volunteers who have access to children are expected to complete a Safe Environment training and complete a Level II background check.
