The Finance Committee directs strategic financial direction to the parish. The Council reviews the quarterly operating results and financial resources of the parish, reviews and approves its annual budget, sets guidelines for the expenditures of discretionary funds and periodically reviews the internal controls of the parish.

Requirements
The Council requires a financial background.
Time Commitment
Attend monthly meetings, less frequent during summers, for 1-2 hours in the evenings. Occasionally participate in a review of a particular financial operation of the parish.
Helpful Attributes
Members must be practicing Catholics in good standing; have a financial background, good planning skills, good communication skills, and a willingness to actively participate in the group.
