What is the House of Prayer?

The House of Prayer is open to the public Monday through Friday from 10:00AM. to 3:00PM. Located on over 12 acres of land on the shores of Old Tampa Bay just ten minutes from our parish. The House of Prayer is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood.  The grounds surrounding this ministry are noted for their serenity and beauty.  Over the years, the grounds of the House of Prayer have been a place of healing and spiritual renewal for all those who have come. The ministry of the Marian Servants of Divine Providence, an Association of lay women and men, coordinates a number of ministries at the House of Prayer. A retreat ministry, a school of Spirituality, and days for prayer and recollection are just a few of their services. Each year, our RCIA groups have used their facilities for annual mornings of prayer and reflection.
