The mission of the Life Ministry is to raise awareness of the sanctity, dignity, and value of all human life from conception to natural death. The objective is to motivate people to respect, protect and defend God’s creation and gift of life through prayer, education, and action according to the teachings of the Catholic Church and direction of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
Members of the SCOS Life Ministry attend monthly meetings to help plan Respect Life prayer and educational activities. We meet on the first Thursday of each month in Room 1 at 7:00 pm. Activities vary throughout the year as we plan for ways to promote the dignity and protection of human life.
