Knights of Columbus is an active fraternal organization of Catholic men dedicated to the ideals of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Membership is open to practicing Catholic men who are over the age of 18. Founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, at St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut, the Knights of Columbus contributes to our local and universal Church, our community and charitable organizations.
Requirements
Be a male, at least 18 years of age, who is a practicing Catholic and is willing to give of his time and talent.
Time Commitment
Meetings are on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. The first meeting of the month is a Council Officers/Business meeting, while the meeting on the fourth week of the month is a General Council Meeting.
Activities
At St. Catherine of Siena, the Knights of Columbus sponsor pancake breakfasts, Italian Dinner/Dance, a Tootsie Roll Drive to benefit the Morning Star School along with other functions.
